Angie enjoys working with people across the lifespan, including children, adolescents and adults. She has a particular interest in supporting people to better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, navigate life transitions and challenges, and improve their overall wellbeing and functioning.
Angie’s approach is warm, collaborative and person-centred. She recognises that each person brings their own experiences, strengths, relationships and circumstances to therapy and works alongside clients to develop an understanding of what is happening for them and what may help.
Her approach draws on evidence-based psychological therapies and is informed by her experience across health, mental health, child development and family-focused practice. Depending on the individual needs and goals of the client, this may include:
• Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
• Mindfulness and emotion regulation strategies
• Attachment-informed approaches
• Strengths-based and person-centred approaches
• Trauma-informed practice
• Developmental and family-focused approaches
Angie values creating a safe and respectful therapeutic relationship where people feel heard, understood and supported to make meaningful changes in their lives.
