Debra
Clinical Psychologist Registrar
Debra is a Clinical Psychology Registrar who provides non-judgemental, warm and professional therapeutic interventions to individuals. Debra has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology and a Bacher of Social Science (Psychology) and her special interests include interventions and support for neurodivergent individuals.
Debra has undertaken specialist training in this area and takes a neurodiversity-affirming approach. This approach acknowledges that all neurotypes have unique strengths, interests, and support needs. This approach also involves understanding the role of the environment and societal barriers in exacerbating challenges faced by neurodivergent individuals.
Debra also has experience supporting people with a range of complex needs and challenging behaviours. Debra sees all behaviour as efforts to communicate and aims to understand what it is the person needs in that moment.
Debra offers online (Telehealth) or phone based psychological services to adolescents and adults experiencing:
• Relationship and family concerns
• Depression
• Anxiety
• Stress or burnout
• Trauma
• Low self-esteem
